Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy
It is important to care for pregnant women’s health throughout their pregnancy. Chiropractic care can be an effective way to do that because it improves bodily functioning and keeps the body in alignment.

Webster Technique
The Webster technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In so doing neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is improved. This in turn balances pelvic muscles and ligaments, reduces torsion to the uterus. This may offer a greater potential for optimal fetal positioning. Current research is revealing the benefits of receiving the Webster technique throughout pregnancy to minimize the possibilities of pelvic distortions.

Prenatal Care
Many women experience various aches and pains, along with general discomfort pre and post-pregnancy. Sometimes a woman’s body has a hard time adjusting to these physical changes, and therefore will feel achy, sore or pain even after labor and delivery.
When you visit us at our office, we’ll begin with a thorough examination that helps us identify the root cause of any pregnancy pain concerning you. We do this because we know that symptoms can manifest in many ways after the baby is born.
Once we’ve made a personalized diagnosis that takes into account the whole picture, we’ll create a customized treatment plan that uses our decades of experience and proven research-backed methods.
We love helping our patients find their path to healing!
Lower Back Pain
Low back pain during pregnancy is caused by increased stress on the lumbar spine by an anterior shift in the center of gravity. Increase mobility and reduce pain using healing adjustments and exercises.
Pelvic Pain and Pubis Dysfunction
One problem that many pregnant women complain about is pubic pain. Yet doctors often dismiss this pain as either “inconsequential,” “unfixable,” or “just one of those pregnancy discomforts that have to be endured.”Yet none of this is true. Pubic pain in pregnancy is certainly not “inconsequential”; it can also be very difficult to deal with. Although many do not know what causes it or how to fix it, many women are able to get improvement or relief with chiropractic treatment. It is not something that you “just have to live with.”
Round Ligament Pain
Round Ligament Pain is common in pregnancy and can cause extreme discomfort due to the ligaments in the pelvis stretching. It may also be caused by a uterus that’s tilted, which puts pressure on the ligaments.
Sciatic Nerve Pain
Some studies suggest the baby’s growth contributes to uterine pressure on supporting vasculature or direct compression of the sciatic nerve, which results in low back pain with radiation into the legs.
Webster Technique
Specific techniques enables chiropractors to establish balance in the pregnant woman’s pelvis and reduce undue stress to her uterus and supporting ligaments.
This balanced state in the pelvis has been clinically shown to allow for optimal fetal positioning. The technique is known as the Webster Technique.
Most birth practitioners are not concerned with breech presentations until a patient is 32 weeks along.
The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics reported in the July/August 2002 issue an 82% success rate of babies turning vertex when doctors of chiropractic used the Webster Technique.
Further, the results from the study suggest it may be beneficial to perform the Webster Technique, as soon as the 8th month of pregnancy, when a woman has a breech presentation.
Shoulder and Neck Pain
This complex center of nerves fees every part of your arms from the shoulder through your fingertips. If it becomes injured, pinching pain, numbness, weakness and other sensations may clue you into the fact that misalignment has taken place. Chiropractic care, along with massage, myofascial therapy and other forms of therapy can relieve the nerves of their stress.

We love Andrea! She’s patient with my rambunctious 4 year old and has helped my 3 month old adjust to the world so gently! My sons knee has been bothering him since he was a small toddler and after talking to Andrea we started him with adjustments and now he never complains! We are so happy to be patients of hers!
Dr. Andrea has made my pregnancy much easier. I have developed Carpal Tunnel and has gotten so much better after a few appointments. I have scoliosis so during pregnancy my back pains are much more intense. I look forward to my appointments because they bring me relief every single time. Definitely would recommend any pregnant woman to take advantage of her services
I have been seeing Dr. Moses for majority of my pregnancy and I am so happy I started! Every week when I leave I feel my body has more mobility and stability and it helps me complete my week in more comfort! I did not seek chiropractic care with my first two pregnancies, and it truly is a game changer in the way your body can feel during your pregnancy!
